Julia Demou

Julia Demou is a psychologist and,  a certified Behavior Analyst (IBA, BCaBA). She graduated from the Psychology department of Panteion University in 2015 (with a clinical focus in Behavior Analysis). In the same year, she completed her internship at the organization 'Monorodi'. Subsequently, she participated in an annual Continuing Education in Behavioral-Communicative Intervention in the field of IRS. In March 2017 she was certified as a Behavioral Therapist (RBT) by the BACB. In December 2020 she was certified as a Behavior Analyst by the International Organization IBAO (IBA). In November 2021, after final exams and 1000 hours of supervised practice, she received the equivalent title of Assistant Behavior Analyst from the BACB (BCaBA). She has presented at the 7th Panhellenic Autism Conference at the War Museum of Athens, at the 2nd and 3rd Panhellenic Conference on Behavior Analysis, at the Open Day of the Metropolitan College and at the 9th EABA Conference in Würzburg, Germany, research papers that she prepared herself. She has taken part in the 1st and 2nd Summerschool of EABA in Rethymno, Crete in 2015 and in Cadiz, Spain in 2017. She has spent several years as a main trainer for children and adults with developmental and genetic disorders in various structures. Provides parent education and professional supervision in the area of the above-mentioned disorders. From September 2021, she works as a trainer at 'KEEPEA Orizontes'.
