Το Κ.Ε.Ε.Π.Ε.Α. «Ορίζοντες» στις Βρυξέλλες για το Ετήσιο Συνέδριο του Disability Support Europe

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά και τιμή συμμετείχαμε στο ετήσιο συνέδριο του Disability Support Europe ( πρώην EASPD στις Βρυξέλλες), με θεματική «Building an Architecture of Inclusion», μια σημαντική ευρωπαϊκή συνάντηση αφιερωμένη στη δημιουργία πολιτικών, συστημάτων και πρακτικών που διασφαλίζουν την ισότιμη συμμετοχή των ατόμων με αναπηρία σε όλους τους τομείς της ζωής.
Η φετινή διοργάνωση είχε έναν ιδιαίτερα συμβολικό χαρακτήρα, καθώς γιορτάστηκαν τα 30 χρόνια δράσης του EASPD, σηματοδοτώντας τρεις δεκαετίες συνεχούς προσπάθειας για την προώθηση της συμπερίληψης, των δικαιωμάτων και της ποιοτικής υποστήριξης των ατόμων με αναπηρία σε ολόκληρη την Ευρώπη.
Παράλληλα, χαιρετίζουμε με αισιοδοξία τη νέα εποχή του ευρωπαϊκού δικτύου, το οποίο ανανεώνει την ταυτότητά του και πλέον μετονομάζεται σε Disability Support Europe, εκφράζοντας ακόμη πιο δυναμικά το όραμά του για μια Ευρώπη χωρίς αποκλεισμούς, όπου κάθε άτομο έχει πρόσβαση στις κατάλληλες υπηρεσίες υποστήριξης και ίσες ευκαιρίες συμμετοχής.
Το Κ.Ε.Ε.Π.Ε.Α. «Ορίζοντες» παραμένει ενεργό μέλος της ευρωπαϊκής κοινότητας των φορέων υποστήριξης ατόμων με αναπηρία, συμβάλλοντας στη διάδοση καλών πρακτικών και στην προώθηση καινοτόμων υπηρεσιών με επίκεντρο τον άνθρωπο.
KEEPEA “Horizons” at the Annual Disability Support Europe Conference in Brussels
We were delighted and honored to participate in the annual conference of Disability Support Europe (former EASPD) in Brussels, held under the theme “Building an Architecture of Inclusion.” The conference brought together disability service providers, policymakers, and experts from across Europe to explore how policies, systems, and practices can create equal opportunities and full participation for persons with disabilities.
This year's event was particularly meaningful as it celebrated 30 years of EASPD, marking three decades of commitment to promoting inclusion, high-quality support services, and the rights of persons with disabilities throughout Europe.
We also warmly welcome the beginning of a new chapter for the network, with the renewal of its identity and its transition to Disability Support Europe. This new name reflects an even stronger commitment to building a Europe where every person has access to the support they need and the opportunity to live, participate, and thrive as an equal member of society.
